These large, 100 gram food balls are a blend of 12 specifically selected ingredients and are a complete diet for wild birds, containing concentrated energy and protein, natural attractive colours, with no fillers and no palm oil.
The Feldy Golden Food Balls have been designed following months of trials and are made on an English farm using locally sourced human grade raw materials.
These high quality suet balls contain approximately 1% Ash, compared to 10-34% in other fat balls (despite the fact ash adds no value to bird food).
There is also no calcium, clay or lignin binders used to bind the Golden food balls together. Instead, high quality human grade White Beef Dripping is the key oil source and binder which also adds good nutrition for your feathered friends.
Feldy do not add any fillers or binders to their products; they are made up of completely natural ingredients which are digestible to all wild birds. As such, there may be a slight change to the texture of the fat balls during extreme temperatures due to the natural ingredients; for example frosty conditions can make the balls go harder in texture. The hardness of the food balls does ensure that they are durable in the rain and will not end up with a mushy consistency like some suet fat balls that may have a much softer texture.
Due to the nature of the product up to 20% of the balls can break up in transit.
